Booking comedians in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is an entertainment-industry town, with premieres, brand activations, galas and celebrity-level private parties alongside a huge wedding market. Expectations for production and talent are high.
Where Los Angeles events happen
Hotel ballrooms, Malibu and Beverly Hills estates, rooftop venues, studio lots, beach clubs and historic downtown theaters.
Season & timing
Mild weather makes outdoor events possible most of the year. Fall heat waves and the occasional winter rain are the main things to plan around.
Know your audience
Tell us who's in the room. For workplaces and mixed ages, we book clean comics who are proven with corporate crowds.
Set up the room for laughs
Comedy works best with a mic, light on the comic, guests seated facing the stage and no dinner service during the set. Schedule it after the meal.
Consider customizing
Many corporate comics add material about your company or industry. Share a short brief a few weeks before the event.
Options we book
Clean corporate set
20–45 minutes of workplace-safe material for mixed audiences.
Custom & roast
Material written around your company, team or guest of honor.
Comedy show
A host plus one or two comics for a full evening program.
Questions to ask before you book
- Can we see a full clean set on video?
- How long is the set, and can you also host?
- Will you customize material for our group?
- What do you need for sound and lighting?
- Are there any topics you avoid?
We ask these for you, and negotiate set length, clean vs. adult content, custom material and the contract terms on your behalf.

Hiring a comedian in Los Angeles: FAQ
How much does it cost to hire a comedian in Los Angeles?
Comedians set their own fees based on their profile, set length, date and travel, so we don't publish prices. Tell us about your event and budget and we'll bring you options and negotiate for your Los Angeles event.
Do you book clean comedians for corporate events?
Yes. Clean comics are most of what we book for company parties, conferences and fundraisers.
How long should a comedy set be?
For most events, 30–45 minutes. Shorter sets work for award nights; a headliner may do 45–60 minutes.
Can a comedian host our event?
Yes. Many comedians also emcee, keeping the program moving between speakers, awards and entertainment.
Can you guarantee a clean comedy set?
Yes. We book comedians who regularly perform corporate shows and write content expectations into the contract, so everyone knows what's appropriate before the show.
