Where couples get married
Oceanfront hotels, waterfront venues, golf resorts and historic adobes.
Season & weather
Coastal fog and wind are common, especially in summer. Late summer and fall often bring the clearest weather on the coast.
Sound & logistics
Outdoor oceanfront ceremonies need sound that can carry over wind and surf. Musicians traveling from the Bay Area often require lodging for evening events.

A DJ set after the band, a surprise mariachi or a special guest performance to close the night.
DJs & MCs →How pricing works
Every artist sets their own rate. We negotiate it for you.
We don't publish price lists because there isn't one. Each performer quotes their own fee, and it changes with the date, the hours, travel and production. Tell us who you want for your Monterey wedding event and we'll get the quote, then negotiate the fee and terms on your behalf before you commit to anything.

Monterey wedding music FAQ
Can you book music for an entire Monterey wedding weekend?
Yes. We can package a welcome-party act, ceremony musicians and a reception band or DJ, which usually lowers the total compared to booking each separately.
How much does a wedding band cost in Monterey?
Every band, DJ and ensemble sets its own rate, and it changes with the size of the act, your date, hours and travel, so we don't publish prices. Reach out with your date and the sound you want, and we'll get quotes and negotiate them for you.
How far in advance should we book wedding music in Monterey?
For Saturday dates in peak season, book your reception band or DJ 9 to 14 months ahead. Ceremony musicians can usually be booked 6 to 9 months out. Fridays and Sundays offer more availability.
Who do you represent, us or the band?
You. We are a buyer-side agency, so we negotiate fees, hours, overtime, meals, breaks and cancellation terms on behalf of the couple.
