Wedding Bands, DJs & Musicians in San Francisco
San Francisco weddings run from intimate City Hall ceremonies to grand hotel ballrooms and historic venues. The city's musicians are some of the most versatile on the West Coast, but logistics take careful planning.

Where couples get married
City Hall ceremonies, hotel ballrooms, historic halls, waterfront venues and restaurants.
Season & weather
Fog and wind make outdoor events unpredictable year-round. September and October often bring the warmest, clearest weather.
Sound & logistics
Load-in docks, elevator access, parking and union venue rules can add cost and time. We confirm all of it with the venue before you sign with a band.

DJs & MCs →How pricing works
Every artist sets their own rate. We negotiate it for you.
We don't publish price lists because there isn't one. Each performer quotes their own fee, and it changes with the date, the hours, travel and production. Tell us who you want for your San Francisco wedding event and we'll get the quote, then negotiate the fee and terms on your behalf before you commit to anything.

San Francisco wedding music FAQ
Can we have musicians at a San Francisco City Hall wedding?
Small acoustic acts like a solo violinist or guitarist are a popular choice. City Hall has its own rules for ceremonies, so check the current requirements when you reserve your time, and we will match the musicians to them.
Why do San Francisco venues add band fees?
Some venues charge for load-in time, power or union labor. We ask about these costs early so they appear in your budget, not on the final invoice.
How much does a wedding band cost in San Francisco?
Every band, DJ and ensemble sets its own rate, and it changes with the size of the act, your date, hours and travel, so we don't publish prices. Reach out with your date and the sound you want, and we'll get quotes and negotiate them for you.
How far in advance should we book wedding music in San Francisco?
For Saturday dates in peak season, book your reception band or DJ 9 to 14 months ahead. Ceremony musicians can usually be booked 6 to 9 months out. Fridays and Sundays offer more availability.
Who do you represent, us or the band?
You. We are a buyer-side agency, so we negotiate fees, hours, overtime, meals, breaks and cancellation terms on behalf of the couple.
